Multiplayer Action-Platformer/RPG Hybrid Mother Machine Open Beta Now Live

Want to check out something new this weekend?

Acclaimed indie developer Maschinen-Mensch announced that the Open Beta Playtest for their Multiplayer Action-Platformer/RPG Hybrid Mother Machine is now live.

Running through November 25, this work-in-progress build of Mother Machine has been made open to the public for the purposes of optimizing and fine-tuning core mechanics and online multiplayer functionality.

The Open Beta Playtest of Mother’s Machine will feature multiple levels for exploration, each set across a different biome. Players will also be able to experience a central Hub to connect with other players and level up with the gremlin of their choosing.

Note that Twitch Streamers can enable Drops so their viewers can get for themselves the exclusive Gremlin Constructor Hat item. All those that check out Mother Machine are encouraged to record and stream gameplay footage, and are free to publish any other forms of content.

Want to check it out for yourself? Players can participate in the playtest by visiting the game’s Steam page.

Want to get a jump on things? All those interested can wishlist Mother Machine via its official Steam page. The full release of Mother Machine is slated for March of 2025.
