You need to progress a short distance into the game before you are able to unlock the DLC quests. You must leave Norway and then arrive in England, preparing your settlement for expansion. A short while after your arrival in England, Sigurd will give you your own room. Here you will find a small wooden box sitting atop a table. This is Eivor’s personal mail box. It’s used throughout the game to offer additional story and background.
You should see a blue scroll with a ! icon on the map in Eivor’s room. Then you can interact with the box and read Norvid’s Note and Sunniva’s Note.
