There is a quest called The Tree Who Stands Alone, that tasks you with exploring a village. This Genshin Impact Look Around Mingyun Village Guide will tell you where you have to go and what you have to do so you can complete the quest and continue on with your adventure.
This quest, called The Tree Who Stands Alone, can be found in Mingyun Village in Liyue. There is a ghostly apparition of a man and when you approach, he reads off some dialogue. It appears to be a will. The quest objective then updates and asks you to look around Mingyun Village. The answer may be obvious for some, but I was walking around for bloody ages, like a right idiot.
The Tree Who Stands Alone Guide – Step One
A house right next to where you star the quest. Enter the door and you will find a book on some boxes. Read the book to progress with the objective.
The Tree Who Stands Alone Guide – Step Two
Now you need to find the Will. Head down into the water below. There is an entrance to a mine on the waters edge. Head inside and you will find the Will on the floor, to the right as you enter. Then head North to the next mine.
Walk into the next mine and search behind the small baskets on the right for the next piece of the Will.
Head to the objective marker furthest North and enter the mine here. Head deep into the mine and swim through the water inside to reach the Will on the other side.
Head to the last objective marker here and head into the final mine. Follow the track to the right and you’ll find the Will next to the mine cart.
From there follow the objective to the large red tree and interact with the shovel at the base of the tree.
