For those that dream of the 90s, rally racing, low poly graphics, and blue, blue skies are back with the release of Walaber Entertainment’s Parking Garage Rally Circuit. Should players take on this paved paradise, or should players not hit up this parking lot?

Parking Garage Rally Circuit Review

Ever paid a visit to Daytona USA’s Dinosaur Canyon, or went “over jump” in Sega Rally Championship? From the moment players boot up this modern throwback on their “Walaber Pluto,” they’ll be able to set their sights on a racer that mixes classic gameplay with modern sensibilities.

Much like the SEGA Model 2 and SEGA Saturn titles of old, Parking Garage Rally Circuit prides itself on arcade action where the hunt for the perfect line and the best time is held in the highest regard.

However, there’s a twist; players will then move on to race in Mt. Rushmore, our city by the bay San Francisco, the Seattle airport, and even the glamorous Minnesota Mega Mall in the finest parking garages ever built.

It sounds like a silly premise – and it is! – but Parking Garage Rally Circuit’s concrete jungle setting pays off in dividends.

True to its inspiration, Parking Garage Rally Circuit prides itself on speed, razor-sharp turns, and the hunt for the perfect line. Sheer skill is the name of the game, with players gunning for the proper times to progress.

Thankfully, the incredibly tight controls of Parking Garage Rally Circuit are up for the task. Players will need to deftly navigate a number of gates to progress and go for the gold (or silver, or bronze…), but the mechanics have been designed to be easy to learn but hard to master – just the way we like it

For one, there’s rarely a need to hit the brakes in Parking Garage Rally Circuit; that’s what drifting and feathering are for. For those with a love of Mario Kart, they’ll have an absolute blast timing the drifts just right to get that oh-so-important boost.

Chaining boosts together and finding the perfect line is an absolute thrill in Parking Garage Rally Circuit. We enjoyed thoroughly learning the ins and outs of each track, and by the time we wrote this review, we were able to handle anticipate the hairpins and the like with relative ease.

That’s not to say we’re experts; far from it. Parking Garage Rally Circuit prides itself on self-improvement, much like the greatest racers on the market today. There’s ghosts and leaderboards for each run, meaning that players will always strive to rise to the top. Parking Garage Rally Circuit Review kept a smile on our face as we shaved off just a tiny bit of time each run.

If anything, there are a number of achievements in Parking Garage Rally Circuit that encourage players to be the very best – like no one ever was. They got us dead to rights, and we’re going to diligently give it our all to catch them all.

Parking Garage Rally Circuit channels raw thrills to create something truly magnificent. For those always on the hunt for the perfect line, Parking Garage Rally Circuit’s speed, challenge, and aesthetics help this arcade racer fly sky-high.
