With a world covered in trees and small woodlands, you wouldn’t think wood is that hard to come by, but it can be. You will need thousands if you hope to maximize your ship upgrades and upgrade Legendary weapons and armor as you increase in level. There are a few methods to obtain Olive Wood. Alone, these methods won’t give you a lot of wood but combined, you should be able to keep your stocks of Olive Wood high enough for all your upgrades.

Dismantling items is one of the best ways of securing Olive Wood, especially with weapons and bows. While the amount you get is limited, it does start to add up so make sure – if you’re low on resources, you dismantle your items rather than selling them.

Exploration is another key element in gathering lots of Olive Wood. As you are exploring the game world you will often come across small shrubs of wood that you can collect. While only offering small numbers alone, if you make sure you grab any on your travels, it soon adds up. As you are riding around exploring, just keep hitting Triangle/Y. You’ll be surprised how many you can get.

Finally, and arguably the best method of getting lots of wood, boats. Take to the seas in the Adrestia and find some boats to sink. Pirates, Athenians, Spartans, it doesn’t matter. Take them down to low health, create a weak spoke and charge at it top speed. Destroying boats this way provides the most amount of wood and even leaves some additional supplies in the water afterwards.
