Genshin Impact Ancient Carving Locations
One of the puzzles for Dragonspine involves you finding Ancient Carving in Genshin Impact. Check out this Genshin Impact Ancient Carving locations guide to find them all while you are exploring. This way you aren’t confused at which one you are missing down the line.
Genshin Impact Ancient Carving Locations
There are 8 Ancient Carvings total to be found in Dargonspine.
The first one can be found here. I don’t recall if you have to light all the torches or not, but do it anyways and then check the tablet.
This is probably the first one you will find as it is near the symbol door. Head to this way point and glide down into the small cave below. Here you will see the tablet and the symbols on the wall you have gotten so far. There are 8 total, so you can count based on that how many more you have left.
This one is found right near the Domain in the area. You will need to get the side quest done “In The Mountains.” In order to access this area. We have a video for that here.
Another one is found here on the map and is protected by a new ruin guard model. You will have to beat it down to read the tablet.
Yet another one that is protected by a puzzle. We have a video to help with that. Under the ice there is some unbreakable ice that requires some of the red ore from the area. Break the ore, get the red buff around you, and break the ice to find the tablet there.
The next one is found here and again will require you to do the In The Mountains side quest which is listed up above. You can find the Tablet underground once you gain access to that part of the area.
The last two are found within the Starglow Caverns. You need to go inside and head up to the top of the area to find one near a sleeping large Ruin guard. From there, turn around and you will have to glide off to another secret door in the area.

With that you will have all of the symbols and you can return to the door here on the map.
Inside you will get a chest with a new Claymore recipes, which you will have to use in your inventory to learn. Head to the blacksmith after that and you can start crafting it, assuming you have all the materials.
