Genshin Impact How To Break Ice In Dragonspine

Some of the ice in Dragonspine can be destroyed with fire attacks from your fire characters. The unbreakable ice will require something else. As you travel Dragonspine you will come across red pieces of Ore that give you a buff when you hit them and collect the Ore. You can tell you have the buff because you will have a red swirl around you and it will disappear after 20 or so seconds. When you have the buff, go find the ice you need to break and shatter it with a weapon attack.

If you run out of time, you will have to go find the Ore again and get the buff, they respawn after a couple minutes. Form my experience so far there has always been a red piece of Ore somewhere around the unbreakable ice unless it is story related content. So if you are struggling, look around every nook and cranny and in every cave to find that red Ore to break the ice that is blocking your path, or covering the quest item.
