Kingdom Hearts III Opening Theme to Feature Skrillex and Hikaru Utada

Kingdom Hearts III - Gamers Heroes
Square-Enix announced today that Skrillex and Hikaru Utada will collaborate on Kingdom Hearts III’s opening theme song “Face My Fears.”

Skrillex was originally brought on to remix Hikaru Utada track “Don’t Think Twice,” but the pair’s friendship made them create this song to celebrate the game’s release. A new and original collaboration, acclaimed record producer Poo Bear has also lent his talents to this work. “Face My Fears” will be released alongside Don’t Think Twice on January 18, 2019.

Kingdom Hearts III will feature a number of worlds based around different Disney properties, including the Kingdom of Corona from Tangled, Monsters, Inc’s Monstropolis, San Fransokyo’s Big Hero 6, Arendelle from Frozen, and Toy Story’s Toy Box.

Attacks inspired by the Disney Parks attractions will also be included, including “Mad Tea Party,” “Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters,” “Grizzly River Run,” and “Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.”

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29 stateside.
