Sometimes in AC Odyssey you find special documents with clues to treasure. This Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ainigmata Ostrakas Documents Guide will tell you where each of the different Ainigmata Ostrakas clues take you, where to find the treasure and what’s inside.
Ainigmata Ostrakas are usually document items that you can find at certain points of interest scattered throughout the game world. When you collect a Ainigmata Ostrakas from an area, it is considered complete however, that is not the end of this treasure trail. If you check the Documents section of your Inventory, it’s in your Browse Bag, you will find a list of Documents you’ve discovered. Each of this is a clue to a hidden treasure located somewhere in the world.
Almost all of the Ainigmata Ostrakas rewards are the same. You receive some Drachmae, usually some Crafting Materials and Special Engravings. If more notable rewards are discovered, they will be included in the information below.
Below is a list of the different Ainigmata Ostrakas document clues we’ve discovered, alongside the location of the treasure.
You get this Ainigmata Ostrakas from Markos’s Vineyard. Head to the Village of Kausos and search the burnt out fire within the temple, the stone building with pillars.
Founding during the Side Quest, In The Footsteps Of Gods. Travel to this lake on the Coast of Koliadai and dive to the very bottom. Use your senses (Hold up on D Pad) to find the treasure and loot it.
You get this one from Odysseus’s Palace. Head North to Melanthios’s Goat Farm. There’s a goats corpse near one of the houses. Loot it to complete this test.
Found on the Farm of Tripodiskos on the South Western edge of Megaris. You can find the treasure at one of the boats on the shore of the Occupied Forest of Tripodiskos. A singular boat is guarded by a dog, it’s on the rear of that boat.
You can find this one in the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, South of Grand Mount Parnassos. There is a group of large statues in a semi-circle at this location. Search the spilled basket of petals on the floor.
You can find this one in a chest in Desphina Fort, South West of the Valley of the Snake. The reward is sitting atop a peak at this exact location. There’s a very small camp up there. A campfire and a wooden stick stuck into the ground. There’s a small book on the floor.
Found in the Prometheus and the Birth of Humankind area, North East from The Leader’s House in Kirrha. South East of the Leader’s House, there’s a large area with lots of olives. Search the largest circular container there for the reward.
You can find this one in Phyllidos’s House in Lamia in the North East area of the Bay of Xerxes. Found on the East side of this island. At a small camp.
You can find this one on the Isle of Salamis on the Western edge of Attika inside the Salamis Marble Quarry. Southern edge of the Isle of Salamis, South of the Ruined Sanctuary.
At the Ariabignes Shipwreck off the Eastern coast of the Isle of Salamis. There is a building at my exact location. It’s full of scrolls, documents and filing areas. There’s a bowl of fish atop a cupboard. That’s where the reward is.
Found at the Altar Of Love in the Sieged Plains North West of Athens. There is a huge mountain far to the North West of Athens, Oropos Heights. You can find the reward at the peak, in a small satchel at a camp.
You can find this document at the Mt. Pentelikos Marble Quarry North East of Athens. There are two towers atop a hill and a shrine at this location. Search the shrine.
You can find this document at Camp Dekelia North of Athens in the Abandoned Farmlands. There is a cave nearby, Cave Pan, outside it there are several large goat statues. Check the head of the one covered in blood.
You can find this document at the Leader’s House on the East Coast of Keos. Just South of the Blacksmith there is a very large burned out fire. Inspect the center of it.
You can find this document at a camp, Kynthos Ruins, on Silver Islands near the Birthplace of Apollo. Not far East of the Fast Travel point there is a very clear bronze statue tucked away in an alcove with a full view of the ocean, surrounded by pillars. Go behind the statue and drop down.
You can find this document at a shipwreck off the South West coast of of the Silver Islands, the Sunken Wreck of Datis. You can find the solution in the Farm of Elais, in front of a huge stack of hay.
At the Leader House on Melos. You can find the solution on the small island to the North, Typhon’s Revenge. Atop the peak is a small, spartan helmet. Interact with it.
Found inside a chest at the Paidiskoi Camp South West of Sparta. Head South West to the peak of the mountain. There’s a small sword sitting at the summit. Inspect it to complete this puzzle.
