How To Get More Iron Metal In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Iron Metal is quite a common resource, which is a good thing as you’re going to need a lot. The primary source of Iron Metal is dismantling equipment. Most weapons or any rarity provide at least a few Iron Metal ore when dismantled but if you need to sell the weapons and armor for cash instead, there are other methods of earning Iron Metal.

Taking out enemy ships, while time consuming, can provide you with a good boost to your Iron Metal stash. Be sure to target a weakspot and drive into them for the quickest way to dispatch an enemy ship for the most reward. Also be sure to take the salvage that’s left in the ocean. When you’re exploring on horseback, always look out for the resource prompt. Hit Triangle/Y as you travel around and you’ll often grab a decent amount of Iron Metal.

Lastly, caves. These are scattered across the game world. Specifically, you want to look for caves that appear to have darker veins of minerals in the interior. These are usually very rich in Iron Metal so if you see a cave pop up on your compass, be sure to check it out straight away.
