Before you’re able to use Thor’s hammer, you need to complete a lengthy set of objectives first. You cannot reach this area of the game until you have already completed the story, so that’s your first step. Once the story is completed, you will need to find all 5 pieces of Thor’s armor set. Once you have completed that exhausting list of objectives, travel to Norway. You will want to go to Hordafylke, following the same river that Sigurd and Eivor followed at the end of the story. Halfway up the river you’ll need to run into the mountains. Follow the path until you drop down into a large rocky area where you’ll see the hammer shining in a rock, it’s hard to miss.
You must be wearing all 5 pieces of Thor’s Armor to collect the hammer. However, once you have collected it and you’re wielding it, you can switch to any armor freely, there are no further restrictions.
