To find some Springy Mushrooms, you will have to head to the Obsidian Fieldlands and then head to the south east corner. When you are down there you will see a place called The Heartwood. You can find the Sprining Mushrooms in The Heartwood and around Grandtree Arena.

The Springy Mushroom isn’t very big, but you can normally see them next to trees or near logs in the forest. On occasion you will run into one in the tall grass as well if you explore there. Be careful of the stronger Pokemon in the area, Scyther packs a punch. You only need one for the quest but you can grab some extra to use for crafting while you are out.

Head back to the quest giver near the first camp and hand over the Springy Mushroom. He will reward you with a recipe and some extra materials to help you craft a Mushroom Cake if you want. This cake helps to lure more monstrous Pokemon and Dragon types as well, so it is worth it to have some just in case.
