Over the Top: WWI’s 200 Player Mayhem Awaits With Latest Playtest

Bringing brutal third-person 100 v 100 multiplayer and single player combat set in the muddy fields of the First World War, Flying Squirrel Entertainment has kicked off the latest playtest for Over The Top: WWI.

This playtest for Over The Top: WWI is free, running through December 9 at 4am EST. This title gives players the chance to re-fight the Great War as either the Central Powers or the Triple Entente.

Note that the main focus of this playtest is on its newly implemented Campaign Gamemode. Currently available exclusively in Over The Top: WWI’s multiplayer, this mode will eventually also make its way to its single-player mode.

The team at Flying Squirrel Entertainment said the following:

“This latest playtest will offer a host of features and updates including destructible environments, the ability to call in airstrikes and more. We are now entering the final stages of development as we build the game alongside our community and march towards release.”
