Metal Slug Tactics Developer Diary Video Released

A twist on SNK’s classic run-and-gun formula, see how Leikir Studio, Dotemu, and Gamera Games’ are bringing a new angle to the series with the latest video for Metal Slug Tactics.

When it came time to adapting the run-and-gun nature of Metal Slug into a roguelite tactical RPG, the team came across multiple challenges.

In the latest video for Metal Slug Tactics, fans can see how they set out to transform its fast-paced action in turn-based form, and also how they were able to translate its iconic pixel art into an isometric view.

Metal Slug Tactics – A New Angle

Metal Slug Tactics will once again have players commanding the Peregrine Falcons Squad as they take on the infamous Rebel Army once more.

Along the way, this squad will gain experience, level up their operatives, and adapt to their enemies.

Metal Slug Tactics will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
