Sac Gamers Expo 2024 Welcomes Special Guest Chris Kohler

Sac Gamers Expo 2024 announced that Digital Eclipse Editorial Director Chris Kohler will be a Special Guest at the upcoming event.

At Digital Eclipse, Chris Kohler leads the creation of the studio’s interactive documentaries. His resume includes such great titles as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (which we scored an 85/100 in our review!), Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, The Making of Karateka, Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story, and the recent Tetris Forever.

Before Digital Eclipse, Chris Kohler held an accomplished career in media that spanned decades.

Not only was he the founder of Game|Life (the first video game vertical at WIRED), he also served as the Features Editor at Kotaku.

Chris Kohler also had features in publications like the Official PlayStation Magazine, Nintendo Official Magazine UK, Electronic Gaming Monthly, IGN, and others. 

He even authored books such as Power-Up: How Japanese Video Games Gave the World an Extra Life (Dover Publications) and Final Fantasy V (Boss Fight Books).

Sac Gamers Expo 2024 will be here in just a few short days, happening from December 14-15 at The Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Sacramento, CA. 

Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance through the official Sac Gamers Expo website. Note that tickets for Sac Gamers Expo 2024 are also available at the door the weekend of the event.

Attendees can also join MC Lars, Mega Ran, Lo(u)ser, & Scarecrow Scandals at the Goldfield Trading Post December 14 for the Sac Gamers Expo 2024 official “In-Between” concert seriestickets are available now.
