When you open your map you can press the + button to reveal the weather in every location in the game. This is important in many ways but most noticeable in the Wild Area, where rare and sometimes powerful Pokemon can only spawn during certain weather conditions.

While the weather is based on the date and time, you can change the weather by altering the Switch clock. However, not all weather is available. Some weather conditions are tied to in-game progress so if you’re looking for Fog, or a Storm, you may need to progress further in the game.UPDATE: Check out our Pokemon Fog Guide for a potential time code that guarantees Fog (Once you’ve completed the game).
Update 2: You can now find the exact weather for every area in the Wild Area. Use the following times on your Nintendo Switch to make that weather appear in every region in the Wild Area.
