These icons are marked by a parking-like icon on the map. They are red to start but turn blue once you take them over. There are two main objectives that are shared across the entire roadblock system in Far Cry 6. The primary objective is to kill every enemy within the boundaries of the area. This includes new enemies that arrive on the road via trucks, horses, or just as reinforcements. There’s usually only three to four guys at these checkpoints, so taking them down without alerting nearby enemies is easily done. Once all the enemies are dead, you have one final objective.

You need to search for the propaganda board, as shown at the top of this post. It’s a board with the big bad guys face all over it. Shoot it, burn it, blow it up, whatever you need to do. You must destroy the sign. Once the sign has been destroyed and there’s no enemies left on the radar, you will take over the checkpoint. You also get some recruits for Los Bandidos.

• Approach the checkpoint quietly to avoid discovery
• If you can, take out the guards without letting them use the alarms or alerting nearby reinforcements
• Once all the guards are dead, search for the large billboard with the Presidente’s face on it
• Destroy the billboard to capture the checkpoint
