This fight is unique as there are actually two Mythical Animals at this location. You can find it near Ida’s Refuge, in the Aguas Lindas region, to the North part of the map. These are Wolves, they are fast and quick. The two main enemies, the Mythical Animals, can be resurrect themselves if they go down a single time. So once you get one down, make sure to finish it off or it will return to the fight.
If you approach quietly they are usually gathered on a stone bridge going over a small stream. You can launch a couple of rockets into the group here and do big damage. They are quick so they will get to your location before long. Prepare before battle and place some proximity mines nearby. The smaller wolves don’t do a lot of damage but they can bite your characters arm, forcing an animation that keeps you in place. Keep your distance, where possible, and take them down quickly.
