Yaran Stories of Far Cry 6 act as the side quests of the game, optional content with great rewards. This Far Cry 6 Yaran Stories Guide lists all of the Yaran Stories in the game, provides information on the location of each Yaran Story, and how to complete them.
Far Cry 6 Yaran Stories Guide
One of the first Yaran Stories you discover. You can find this Yaran Story in the Montero Farm Guerrilla Camp, once it is unlocked through story progress. Walk up to Chorizo the dude and pet him. You can then accept the quest. Grab the ingredients. Unfortunately, I already had every ingredient required when I started the quest so it completed automatically. Once you have all the ingredients, return to the dog bowl to finish the Yaran Story.
You get this Yaran Story from Chorizo after you complete Who’s A Good Boy. Follow Chorizo around the camp and collect all the boxes he digs up and shows you. You will also get a Mysterious Key (Check out our guide on what to do with the Mysterious Key in Far Cry 6 for more details). Once you find all of the boxes, he will join you as an Amigos.
Head to this location to Yami’s Chop Shop. Speak to Yami to start the Yaran Story. You will need to secure the FND Tank Training Grounds. There’s a convoy of trucks in the area, destroy all of them. Once you steal the car you complete the mission and unlock the Yami’s 2008 Kag TG.
You can find this Yaran Story in Montero Farm. Have a Cockfight and win. Once you win, speak to the man nearby and he will send you on this mission. There is an underpass that goes through the hills and trees. Head into the tunnel and into the door. Follow the bunker through until you go underground into some caves. At the end is a named Rooster. Kill it. Then escape while under constant assault of chickens…Return to complete the Yaran Story and hear about his happy co….
Complete Spur of the Moment and speak with Elvis again to get this Yaran Story. You need to head near Verdera to find an egg. Grab an egg and then destroy the rest. Return to complete this Yaran Story.
This is a Yaran Story from Juan that you get as part of the story. You need to find enough Uranium to purchase all of the weapons from Juan’s bench. More weapons become available as you rank up. To complete this, you need to find enough Uranium, you can find nearly all of it at antiaircraft stations. Check out our

You can find this Yaran Story at this location, it’s very close to
Ida’s Triada Relic Treasure Hunt. Speak with Zenia to start the mission. Head to the objective, steal the tank, and return it. You have to climb right on top to get inside.
After you complete Stealing Thunder, speak with Lozania again to get this Yaran Story. Drive to the town and destroy all the billboards that appear as you pass. You get a tank as a reward.
Head to this location and speak with Chica. Head to the village, the target is hiding in one of the huts. Kill him.
You get this Yaran Story from Juan as part of the story. The objective is at the location marked above.
The shipping container can be found on the West side of the village. You’ll hear a dog bark as you approach. Open the container to finish the Yaran Story and unlock Boom Boom Amigos.
Head to this location in Noventarmas to start this Yaran Story. Follow the objective markers, kill the guards, free the prisoners.
You can find this Yaran Story here, on the West side of Cruz Del Salvador. Speak with Dr Yanny to get the Yaran Story. You will
need a fishing rod for this Yaran Story. You’ll need to catch 3 fish. Then you will need to find and feed some Pelicans. You can find Pelican’s at the Pelican Hunting spot on the East edge of La Joya. If you need more help, check out our

The next step requires you to meditate near an Eagles Nest on a cliff. Take the Maria Marquessa Productions FNB nearby and then Airdrop. You can get straight to the objective without having to climb anything. Once at the top, you will need to remain in the nest for 30 seconds without pressing a single button. From there, you can use your Wingsuit and jump off to the North to get 20 seconds of airtime for the next objective.
For the final objective, you need to stealth kill three enemies. Easy enough.
There is a man standing here playing baseball in the field. Speak with him to start this Yaran Story. You get a
Los Bandidos Leader for completing this quest. Head to each of the camps, take them over to get the key, go to each objective marker to find the items.
I’m not entirely sure where I picked this up but I think it was just during the story. You need to find 11 towers that are jamming signals.
You can find this Yaran Story at the Patriotas Peak camp in Sierra Perdida. Speak with Lorenzo to start the story. There are traps all over so be careful. To get on the roof there’s an entrance at the rear of the cabin she’s standing on. There are proximity mines nearby, keep your distance and use your baseballs to set them off. Once you get into the house, chase her down and give her the letter
Head to this farm and speak with Reinaldo to start this Yaran Story. This is how you
recruit Chicharron as an Amigo. Head to the location and open the gate. You will need to defend Chicharron from the dogs. There is a target in the middle of the arena. Shooting that spawns a pretend soldier. The dogs will target that over anything else, so use it if you get overwhelmed. Chicharron can be hurt by your bullets so be careful. Then use the Grapple Point on the water tower to leave the mark.
After you complete Mans Best Enemy, you can find Pecking Orders here. Follow Chicharron to the building and then defend him while he destroys files. You can’t help with the files, and it takes 4-5 minutes before it ends, just keep killing the bad guys. Then follow the rooster outside, climb the ladder, leave the mark.
After you complete Pecking Orders, this Yaran Story is unlocked. Follow Chicharron to the monument, survive the onslaught of guards. Mission complete.
Head to this location and speak with Petra Toca to start this Yaran Story. You’ll need to visit a few farms and do some basic errands, nothing too complicated.
After you complete Everything To Lose, Petra will contact you again. Return to her for another Yaran Story. When you get the story go straight into the bedroom and use the ladder to hide in the ceiling. Listen to the conversation until it is revealed Gloria is at a farm, and then kill all of the guards. Then, head to the farm marked above to find her location. After the quest is complete, return to Petra for an additional reward, you get a Hideout location reveal.
You can find this Yaran Story here, speak with Gilberto. Head to the location, clear out all the guards, and then escort the prisoner down to the river. You’ll need a bow or a silenced weapon to make this mission easier. Mostly just attacking enemies while they are mounted.
Complete Undercover Stud and then this Yaran Story becomes available at Gilberto’s location. Head to the objective on the map to pick up the posters. Then you want to travel to the coastal road along Vacia Coast, where I am in the image above. Follow the road all the way West, vandalizing the billboards that match the photo you were sent on your phone. You will need to follow the road a long way. There’s only 4 of them but they are very spread out. Stay on the road, at all times, and you will get an alert when the billboard is close. They are hard to miss.
You will need to keep travelling, take the check points on the way. The last one is a minute or two after the Vacia Coast Checkpoint S.
You unlock a new leader for Los Bandidos as a reward.
To start this Yaran Story, speak with Rosa Mel Paquete at this location. I think you need to complete Gilberto’s other Yaran Stories first. Head to the three locations. The first two are small buildings by the side of the road, destroy the pictures of Gilberto on the wall inside the building. Same for the third one, it’s just a bigger compound.
As soon as you complete Loose Ends, you get this Yaran Story. Return to Rosa and watch the cut-scene to complete the story.
You can find this Yaran Story in East Barrial, on
Duende Island. As you approach you will get a phone call, this will automatically start this Yaran Story. Protect Big Papi while he finds the package.
You can start this Yaran Story by speaking with Colton “CBSavage” Blake in Barrial. Follow Colton as he evades tank bullets and explosions then at the end, upload the video to complete the Yaran Story.
This Yaran Story is a little tricky. Reading the description for one of the
Far Cry 6 Leaders, it tells you to complete this Yaran Story in Esperanza to unlock the leader. I explored Esperanza for hours and never found it. I was exploring South of Esperanza, at the exact location shown above, when I got a call from Zenia offering a job. She said she would send a photo so I could find her. The photo never came.
I gave up searching and logged off. When I logged back on, I noticed the Yaran Story appear here, at the safehouse in South Esperanza. When I logged back on next time, the Yaran Story had disappeared off my map. However, I fast travelled to the safehouse there and Zenia was on some stairs spray painting the wall with graffiti. This Yaran Story begins whenever you find your first Triada Relic. You need to find all three and continue the quest. Check out our
